Ok I want to start by saying Im not a NIS expert.
If I log in as the security manager and run the security manager GUI on the master everything comes up, I can create global users. However when I try to delete one I get the following error : "Unix Command Failed. User '[username]' was not deleted" (user name does dissapear however.).
Now I have 2 Unix servers as Clients. If I log in as the Security manager and run the security manager GUI it does not ask me for a password like it should. If I try to look at global user accounts I get the following error: "Failed to construct User Cataloge: Unix Command Failed".
I am currently in the proccess of trying to get my work to purchase the O'Reilly NFS and NIS book, but if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
