NIS problem

Yet another NIS problem.

I'm setting up NIS on a client machine and I'm running into this problem -

ypwhich works but when I do a ypwhich -m ,, I get a bunch of messages like this one -

ypwhich: Can't find the master of passwd.byname. Reason: no such map in server's domain.

Any pointers ?

I see this in /var/adm/messages on the NIS master -

ypserv: access denied for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip of NIS client)

/var/yp/securenets did not have an entry.
