HELP - I set up a RH 8.0 PC (full server install) and I can' get it to bind to the NIS server. I am running NIS+, however the 2 fedora machines I have on the network were able to bind to the NIS+ server just fine. What files should I check on the RH machine? Also, I can't NFS mount from the server to the RH8 box - I get an RPC timed out.

on the redhat machine type the command
nisdomainname
and if is blank type
nisdomain {name_of_the_nisdomain}
then try to bind to the nis.
