We are having issues trying to connect to a NIS master server, when the client is in a different network then that master server. We can attach to the correct NIS server. Fortunately, this is all internal, so, we are not having any routing/firewall issues.. we are using VLANS, but, Layer 2 only, which should not make a difference.
Has anyone heard of this problem, and/or fixed the issue?
