Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to setup a SunOS 4.1 NIS client?

If your YP server is broadcasting on the same subnet, then all you need to do is put your domain name into /etc/domainname and run /usr/etc/ypbind. Add these to you startup scripts etc....

What if the NIS server is on a different subnet that the SUN OS client. How do you get the SUN OS Sparc10 to bind to the ypserver on a different segment? I am currently having this issue. Thanks in advance for your help....
