NIM question

HI,
How can I upgrade the MLs of a mksysb image (ex:5104_msysb) which is 5104 to 5107 on a NIM server.Is there any command to upgrade the mksysb image to latest MLs?

Hi

As far as I know, this is not possible.

You need to update a running system, then create a new mksysb.

If you install via NIM you can update your lppsource and SPOT, then you can install with the new ML.

I'll agree with ubihga, I don't believe this is possible either.

If you really liked the image, you could restore it to a temporary system, upgrade, and then take a mksysb.
