Hi,
where can I see the log file for NIM while the migration is in the process.

I think, you must start a nim-trace. In the nim-docu you will find the neccessary steps, how to start a trace.

I believe the log file for a migration installation is on the client being upgraded. Look in the /var/adm/ras directory tree.

An alt_disk_install puts the log file on the NIM server in /var/adm/ras/alt_mig.
