NIM Adm problem

Trying to do an AIX migration from 5.1 to 5.3; The nim master has the SPOT + LPP source setup, for 5.3 ML 3.

When I issue a smitty nimadm for alternate disk migration, I keep getting this error:

Client alt_disk_install command: alt_disk_copy -M 5.3 -P1 -d "hdisk1"
ksh: /ALT_MIG_SPOT/sbin/alt_disk_copy: cannot execute
0505-187 nimadm: Error cloning altinst_rootvg on client.

Now, I know AIX 5.1 does not have this command, why is this occuring? Any help will be appreciated.

NIM is great and all, but troubleshooting is PITA!

I fixed the problem, by recreating my master.

Now I think of it, I prbobally entered the wrong Subnet when making the client.
