Nikon Slide Scanner

I am considering moving from windows to Linux. The only thing that is stopping me is that I have a Nikon LS1000 slide scanner and I have been unable to find a Linux driver & interface for it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Take a look at the SANE home page at SANE is the &quot;Scanner Access Now Easy&quot; project, and the LS1000 is listed on the supported hardware page.
