I have a customer that have a BCM 400 4.0
We were using call pilot to answer all the call until a reception was hired.
After the reception was hired the call pilot was set to answer calls after 4 rings
the problem i have is at night it also take 4 rings before call pilot answer the phone also.
I know in other system that i work on there is a night services feature once that feature is enable the auto attendant will answer the calls right away.
Is there anything in the BCM like that. I look at the manual but i don't see a feature like that.
 
Yes. Assign ring grp 2 to Night and only assign the vm DN to that ring grp. Then assign the lines to ring grp 2. Then go to the reception set and add a nite key (F871). This way you can turn on nite service whenever u want even if u have a company meeting etc.
