Problem: Night services set up as manual, trunk answer = Y and DRT = Y x 4 rings to prime, prime set is the CPilot DN. This is a standard Norstar setup, worked fine for 7 months. Suddenly stopped working. Went over all programming, rebooted, have applied the usual patches current up to a couple of months ago.

Anyone have an idea of where to go next?

What's it doing that you don't want it to do?

Its not comming on when "manual" night button, F871, activated/pushed. Seems to ignore the Ringing service activation. DRT is OK.

A couple of things
Are the lines and DN that you want to use in the same Ring Group?
Is the set that is activating Night Service the Control set for those lines and DN's?
Is the AA set to yes to answer those lines?

Hawks,

Lines and DN in same ring group;

Set is control set DN 221, default DN numbering;

"Lines" under Table programming = N as per Norstar, haven't checked 982 recently; I recall looking there earlier and noting "ans lines = Y" as per default. Is there a place I've forgotten to look in BCM Call Pilot that would be different from Norstar?

Ok the way I did it was under Tables in the AA set lines to answer as Y. Then set the rings out to a high number so in the Day mode it gives whoever a chance to answer.

DRT in four rings is working fine. Exactly the CFNA the customer wants. But night svcs, although showing ON, isn't.
Did before, don't now. Y'know, even a Pizza box has some redeaming features.. but this BCM 50...

??
