Merlin Legend R 7.0 one QCC operator. Night service button is assigned to trunk 801( main # ) and analog station for night ringer. Recently changed carriers that pointed trunk 801 to the PRI. We lost our 801 copper line and night ringer when night service button is active, tried to program trunks that are in PRI to night service but they will not take. Any ideas??

What you did, was switch from a LINE oriented system to an EXTENSION ORIENTED SYSTEM.

For all practical purposes, you have no incoming lines. (Well, you really do, but they no longer have their own address/number).

Everything now points to an Extension, not a line.

Basically, the lines do not ring anymore, only extensions.

Here's how you can fix it.......

If (assuming the MAIN NUMBER still points to the QCC) then it should be easy to assign the extension (Night Bell) to the Night Service Calling group for the QCC.

Sys Prog > exit > Night Serv > Group Assign > Extension > Enter Group > (QCC) > Enter Extension (Night Bell)

Thanks I will try tomorrow

Just a quick question, Enter Group ( QCC ) would be the operator extension 100?
Thanks
