Right i want to route the incoming DDI to an existing mailbox. I use Nametag hunt groups for this ? coorect?

so extension 1000 exists and has a mailbox.

so I programme thus?

create nametag hunt group with *1000 and reroute that always to VM in NS1

reroute 1000 to *1000 in NS1

Will that work?

Is 1000 the device that rings during the day?

If so, simply route 1000 to vm at night

Otherwise, you need to route the ringing dn to *1000

If mb 1000 is a menu node, you're gonna have a bad time

No the incoming ring during the day is a multicall key on two instruments (1000 + 1001). I can route the call to 1000 in night service and route that to VM but the call is going straight to auto attendant rather than the VM box of 1000?

So I reroute the ddi to *1000 and reroute that to VM in call rerouting?

Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

How is the ddi programmed in your system?

I suspect by what you've told be so far, the target dn is a hunt group with 1000 and 1001 as members

Rather that guess at an answer could you provide all the details

Ddi = ?
Ddi matches dn on system programmed as ?
Matching dn on system is routed via ? To ?
This then rings dn 1000 and 1001 on multiline keys

DDI is 1166

No DDI match to a DN directly except in NS1, no hunt group or ring group.

1166 is only on multicall keys, two set to ring immediate, rest set to delay ring (1000/1001 set to immediate)

NS1 DDI is routed to 1000 only.

OK - By the Way - A multicall key IS a matching DN

Route 1166 to *1000 in night mode and you're good to go.
