Night button (Service Modes) will only tell the voice mail system to answer the calls right away, it will not tell the voice mail system as to which greeting it will play.
Only the voice mail will decide which greeting it plays, Schedules along with Table settings will tell it which greeting to play when.
Try just creating Greeting # X and have it play in Evening under Table.....the CCR will kick in at the end though.

One more thing. I did program the night service to direct calls just to an extension to give an after hours greeting. This did work for a while but for some reason stopped.
Check that night is still told to ring the DN
Make sure the phone is still the same
Make sure the DN is forwarded to the vmails DN or Capabilities Forward No Answer is set to vmails DN

You could use a CCR Tree to do what you wanted.
Build Night Service button
Put lines in ring group
Make only the Flash extension a member of that Group
Build an Information Mailbox
Build Greeting with CCR Tree and Point path 0 to the mailbox
Customer want 4 rings during day then go to AA. Then it uses a CCR. I just set up night to go directly to this same tree. Customer is ok with that. Originally customer just wanted an info message for nights.
Callpilot indeed would do the trick since it can have 4 different trees answer during the 24 hours if needed and then do what Hawks suggested.
