I understand that on Merlin systems in the night service menu you specify which lines you would like to cover to night service, but what about DID/DNIS calls that route to the operator or calls transferred in from an auto attendant on an MLM007? When the operator goes to night service do these calls also cover to the covering extensions/groups?

Forgot to add the second part of my question. When you specify start and end day/time combinations, is it assuming you mean start at a certain time on the day you specify and go in and out of night service at the times you specify for start/stop until the stop day you specify? For example if I specify start 01605 and stop as 60805 would it go in to night service at 6:05pm and out at 8:05am every day of the week? Or do I need to enter multiple start/stop days/times to have that happen?

Well I'll start with the eazy one. Yes the start/stop time is per/day. As for DID/DNIS I've done it by making night service operator the DID number when you go into night service that will cover to the AA. As far transfered calls or "0" out transfers. That is set up in the mail. Defalt is to go to mail box 991.

The whole night service/ operator thing has a lot of variables to think about it allways takes me a few tries to get it all just how the customer wants.

Maybe merlinman will have some more to the point info?

So if the DID is 300 and the operator extension is 300 then when I setup the night service group for operator 300 it will cover just like any lines would?
