I am trying to set up a night service operator for ext 10.

1) Does ext. 10 have to have a console phone, or can it be a Partner 34D?

2) I have tried adding 10 as the Operator for the system, but it won't let me. The operators that are currently listed in the system are 7100 and 7104. I have tried to delete 7100, but it won't let me.

Thanks,

Dov

How is the system set up? Hybrid or key? Is the first card an 016 ETR card? You can't delete 7100 - you have to renumber it.

Menu - sytem - start - sysrenumber - single - station -etc.

As far a 34D being a console - in key mode I don't think it matters, in hybrid mode - it has to be an MLX 20/28D or a 4420LD/4424D set.

Hope this helps!

We are in Hybrid mode.

Here is the order of the boards:
Processor w/CKE5
800 ICLID - GS/LS ID
52 412 TDL - LS-ID
016 ETR

I do not believe that ETR/Partner phones can ever be operators, period. You can delete 7100 from the operator positions, but not the extension itself. But why would you want to do that? Dump 7104 from the positions, not 7100. The reason I am suggesting that is so that you will not lose the "Dial 0" feature.
