Hi all,

I’m trying to activate night service on trunks. I think that I have most of the config down but just wanted to confirm how to activate it.

I want all incoming calls to be transferred to a VDN; the vector behind it takes care of the routing.
I was going to change the trunk group i.e. trunk group 1,2,3

Add in the VDN under ‘Night Service ‘ for TG 1,2 & 3

We have multiple tenants, one tenant use attendant , one X, I believe . I’ve added the ‘ night-serv’ button to the principle console

On the other tenant I’m unsure of what button to program, is it the same? These just use normal extensions
Once we’ve activated the night service button, does that activate night service for all trunk groups ? You don’t have program in buttons for each TG do you? We have a number of TG’s which don’t need night Service activating so they will still handle traffic as usual.

So activating the night service button will activate night service on any trunk groups with an entry in the Night Service field.

Hope this makes sense.

Individual trunk-group night service is activated by "trunk-ns" buttons. You can assign 3 buttons per trunk-group, one each, to 3 voice terminals.
