We have a Night Service Issue when there are multiple incoming calls simultaneously.

Here is our set up:
Merlin Legend R7
Night Ring is ext. 200 which is several ringers around the building.
Extensions 100 (Operator Console) and 200 are in the Night Service Group.

When Night Service is on and a call comes in when dial #9200 to answer Night Ring.

When multiple calls come in and we answer night ring, the second call will continue to ring at the console only, the ringers attached to extension 200 won't ring.

Unless you are paying close attention you won't hear the Console Ringing to answer it.

Any suggestion on how to improve/correct this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like x200 has coverage buttons on each of the phones that ring for night. Once you've answered a coverage button, it will no longer ring that phone until you hang back up and free that coverage button. One solution is to get an external loud ringer and attach it to an analog port with coverage for 200. That way, the loud ringer would always ring anytime a call for extension 200 came in.

You can also disable abbreviated ring (for the 2nd incomming call) - so that you get full ringing with each incomming call.

Instead of looping 200 to several ringers, make each ringer a seperate extension, and put them all in the Night Service group.
