Hi All,
I am a complete novice to BCM50's and could really do with some help resolving the below problem.

When our helpdesk staff go home we have to log into the BCM and set a forward all on the helpdesk number so any calls get forwarded and answered by an external company.

Is there a way of initialising Night Service so that when 4.45pm come it will automatically forward any calls to the external company?

If you need any other info please let me know.

Regards

Rob

If all the help desk lines ring in to a phone just forward the phone manualy. Feature 4.(call forward) The phone does need to be allowed to redirect that is in the capibilities programming of the phone.
And there is timers in the services but not for forwarding external. The AA/CCR can forward external.

Have a "side phone" installed, one that will never need to be called and have this phone permanately forwarded to the off-site location (you can use an analog port as well). Then have the night service come on automatically at the time desired. In the ring group for this service, have the "side phone" ring. The call will follow the forward path and bam, problem solved.

I have used both digital and analog ports for this. I find analog ports are better as someone can't just unplug it and have the forward be cancelled.

Awsome, I will log into the BCM and give this a go. Sounds pretty simple.

Cheers
