I'm trying to get the branch office console ext (200) to forward calls in night mode to the main office console ext (100,101). The system are tied together with 7 T1 channels for interoffice voice and voicemail traffic. Right now when the branch office is in night mode the calls are routed to the main office voice mail. But I would like the calls to go to reception first then VM if reception doesn't pick up. How do I direct night service to ext 100 across the T1? Any ideas.

O.k., try to follow me...this is a little involved. First you need an empty calling group. You assign a non-local ext..probably your console 100 to the calling group. In night service you would assign the calling group with your operator ext in it to night service. [night serv] [group assign] [calling group]. That way the calls will be directed to x100 when the night service is pressed on 200. You can have only one non-local ext in a calling group and they are always logged in. Then the calls should follow x100's coverage normally for the AA. If you want to send it across to a calling group then you either need to re-number the calling group to the non-local udp or absorb and add digits using the udp. But I think you arn't looking to do that. Good luck.
