NIght service button turning off

I have a client who has a problem with the night service button on extension 10. the night service is only redirecting calls to answering machines and the auto attendant, they say when they leave they hit the button and it turns on like usual , the following morning they said that the night service turned off by itself, what could cause this, im throughly perplexed , any advice would be greatly appreciated

I haven't read about something like that ever happening so this is a guess on my part. If the system experiences a power loss or burp, would it come back up in the Day Mode as opposed to the Night Mode?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Night service should come back to its former state after a power failure, but I have not personally tested it on the R8's and R7's with the later patches. This was normal operation on P+, PII, and ACS.

Is it actually going into Night Service? Did they set a System Password in #403, which is needed to put in into and out of NS?
