Greetings,

I need to program a night service button on a console. Customer wants to be able to put the console into night mode to ring to a night bell. Currently the system goes into night mode daily automatically. The night service button I believe can override the auto nights???.

Thanks for assistance,

Soop

You have to program the Night Service at the operator phone. If iy is a 20L, Press Menu, Ext Program, touch a blank button (it will say blank on the screen), use the more key to scroll to Night Service, press it, then press the previously blank button to confirm it says Night Service on the screen. Press Home to exit.

For all other MLX-type phones, Press Menu, Prog (if you don't see Prog press the More key once), touch a blank button (it will say blank on the screen), scroll with the More key to the word Night, press it, press the previously blank key to confirm it now displays Night Service. Press Home to exit.

If you don't see the Night Service or Night choice - then you are not at the system operator phone - which would be the lowest logical extention number on the system.

Thanks Tom,

It is an MLX-10 they are using. I will have them program it from the operator phone. I would imagine this will force the system into night mode if they need to, bypassing the timing control?

Thanks again Tom.

The Night service button will override the schedule programmed in the voicemail unit.
