I have a MICS with callpilot voicemail. The customer wants station 222 to be in the night ring group. When it is in the group its voicemail answers. Is there a way to program it not to answer. They want to have voicemail on the station when not on night ring. I know the voicemail can be disabled but the customer wants it to work for other stations at night.

Thanks

Use Hunt Groups and point night service to the HG
HG's ignore the CFNA setting.

They decided not to have that extension in the group but now none of the extensions in the group ring in night service. I can't figure out what I did. All ext. are in group 001 and the service is turned on manually . The control set is 221 for all ext.

Thanks

You need to go into Lines as well in Service Modes and add the DN/s

I went to lines and I can't see where to add the dn's. It does show for control set.

Go into Ringing Services/ Schedule: Night/ and press next until you see Line Settings, show each line and add the DN

They have lines and did's and all are assigned to group 001

If they decide to put an ext. into the group that has voicemail how do you point night service to service

Confused
Do you want "Night" to be answered by Callpilot (AA) or this so called "service" (do you mean a service department when you say just "service"?)

You can only have either AA or a set or group of sets in a single Schedule, not both. That's like telling all sets to Appear and Ring yet you program AA for 0 rings....conflict!
If you want several schedules then setup more groups.

i.e. based on 3 modes
9 to 5pm Normal = Lines ring at reception based on normal programming
5 to 7pm Evening = Service = Ring Group 001 = DN XXX, DN XXX, DN XXX, DN XXX (where its 4 phones in service department) - Line 001, 002, 004 etc = Ring Group 1
7 to 9am Night = Callpilot = Ring Group 002 = DN XXX (F985) - Line 001, 002, 004 etc = Ring Group 2

So
When you select Evening now all the main lines will ring 001 (service sets)
When you select Night now all the main lines will ring 002 (service sets)
The lines are in both groups.
You can rename the Schedules to Service and AA

The situation has been resolved by just using a hunt group and forwarding that
