I recently enabled a night service button on my main console so that the lines ringing into the main console will be answered. I used FAQ 799-3717 to program the system and it works...too well as a matter of fact. The TAS function picks up all of my target lines, not just the ones ringing on the console. I recently installed a PRI pipe from a local carrier and my customer wanted to set this up. Any suggestons on how I can fix this? Do I need to make all of my other target lines private to the dn and only leave the Target line 177 public to the main console? I am on the site now so if anyone is on site and has a quick answer, please respond asap.

the default common setting for all lines is the first set on the system (useually 21,221,2221)
you have two options:
first make a different set the control set.
second go to services->common settings->control sets->for lines-> and change/clear the control set number for all the target lines.

I chose the latter and it didn't take long at all to go clr next clr next clr next etc. etc.

Jerry,

You are saying that if I clear the control set on the lines that it will clear the problem. I will try that and see if that works for my situation. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, what is happening is that when the control set goes into night service the ICS looks at the tables under services to see what lines that control set controls and then sends those lines into vm.
