Hi all question for you
On our CS1000 we run the nightly routines and as they start or go into LD 30 we have one PRI that goes into yellow alarm and comes back. What in LD30 would cause the PRI to bounce like that this happens every night.

LD 30 will switch your system clocks, that may be causing it

I will look into the clocking maybe it's in free run? we also get this msg a few times a day
DCH: 12 MAINT INDICATION TIME: 9:36:13
COUNTER VALUE
16 255
what does this mean? slips??

It wont be a Free Run issue. But if you have an Optipon 61 or 81 where you have 2 clock controllers LD 30 will cause them to switch if enabled in the midnight routine. Your other issue is more than likely a d-channel protocol error. It would not indicate slips, that would be at the carrier level.

You can find your DCH Cause Codes in the Maintenance NTP under LD 96. You will find the Cause Codes under the PLOG Command.

Your Cause Code 16 = Count of messages with undefined information elements
