Looking for a main line night ringing configuration that will ring 5 phones during night mode, then forward to the general delivery mailbox. The 5 phones need to retain their CFNA to VM DN after 4 rings. The Receptionist phone needs to retain CFNA to VM after 6 rings.

I had set this up originally as follows:

created ring group 002 with an unequipped DN as the sole member ( DN 4100)

configured line 241 to use ring group 002 in Night mode.

set 4100 to forward all calls to Hunt Group 01 (DN 4444).

configured HG01 with the 5 phones as members.

set HG01's overflow to receptionist's DN

This worked for over a month until it stopped recently. I can't figure out why it's not working anymore, and now wondering if there is a better way to set night ringing to notify several phones before going into Gen Deliv MB.

I tried simply adding those 5 phones to ring group 2, but this caused a problem with calls forwarding to one of those mailboxes instead of to the Gen Deliv MB.

Any other suggestions?

when you say it isn't working....what is it doing?
what is transfer callback set at?

It rings at the receptionist phone and then forwards to Gen Deliv MB. It doesn't ring at the other phones in that Hunt Group.

Do you have to have the receptionist's set ringing at night? If not take it out of night ringing sets. Have you tried calling dn 4100 during day hours ..what happens? I have found that the transfer callback time in these scenarios have to be set high. The ringing times in cfna seem to accumulate.
