I have night services set manually and the control set has the button programmed and it works just fine. My question is how can I use another mailbox than the general delivery? I tried to change the General mailbox greeting, but it did not work. I want to create a new mailbox and point night calls to that box. This is the main line BTN, that points to a target line, that points to a hunt group. I don't know how to route to a mailbox other than GD.

My manager at this site will not let me use the Auto Attendant like I am used to, so this is my first time using ringing services for night ring.

Thanks

Build a mailbox for the Hung Group extension.

Awesome, I am doing that now.

I can't get this to work! It still goes to General Delivery! I have the VM DN as the only member of the ring group. I have the main line set to this group. I just need to find a way for this to route to a new mailbox, and not the General Deliver. I could record a better General Delivery recording, but I would prefer not.

Thanks

Try this
Build Greeting Table (don't record a greeting just have a second of dead air).
Build CCR Tree for this table and make Path 0 a Leave Message Path.
Then point it to the mailbox that you have built.

You can set AA to answer the line on the highest number of rings. This way in the Normal mode AA should never answer tht line. Then when you go to Night Mode it will answer and follow that that Table that you built.

Have you checked the other phones in the group to make sure they don't have Call Forward-NA to VM before the system is supposed to answer? One phone could be set at 3 rings instead of 4 or 6.
