Night ring AA and day ring hunt group

Hello,
I haven't set up a night ring like this before and prior to that it was on th MICS & CICS so bear with me. We usually have all calls answered by the AA but in this site they want the calls to ring a hunt group so they can have the flexablity of the queue and forwarding to other members in the next HG and that's working fine. Now they want to set it up so that from 7am to 6pm it rings that HG and at night either auto or manual ring to an auto attendant. Now under the ringing groups I can not put the HG DN in group 001 and I don't want to loss the use of the HG, is there a way that could work. Everything I've tried does not work so any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.

First of all, NEVER use Ringing Group one. I can't ever remember entering a hunt group DN in a Ringing Group, but can't see why it couldn't work. Use Ringing Group 2 or 10, remove the default attndt., and try to enter HG DN.

You just need to have the NIGHT mode in auto.
Assign the VM dn to the ring group and then set the ring group to the appropriate lines to be answered.
Set the time of day.
Set the NIGHT mode to Auto.
You should be good to go.

I misunderstood. Gecko is right, to send it to the AA after hours, put the Vmail DN (Ftr985) in Ringing Group 2, apply ringing group 2 to the lines you want answered. Make the conrol set the recpt. Add Ringing Service button to recpt. (Ftr871). Then you can toggle between HG and AA. You can also make it Auto and set your times.

I tried it in group 002 and in 010 and it will not allow a HG DN to be assigned unless I'm missing something. I'll keep trying a few more things to get it to work. Anything else I can try let me know. Thanks for your help.

Your missing the point, like I did on my first post. Leave your day setup untouched. If you program Ringing Group 2, like Gecko and I posted, it will overule your day mode and send the calls to an AA. You don't put HG DN in your Ringing Group, you put the Vmail DN, (Ftr985).
