Night Message: how to record a new message?

Hi all,

We have to re-record a new message for the night service.
At the end of every day the receptionist pushes a key on her phone to activate the night service.

We have no clue how to re-record this message... (we inherited this system...).

This is what I already managed to find out:

So how would I go about to change the message people hear when night service is activated?

Your recordings are most likely in Voice Mail, but you did not mention what type of voice mail you have. (Meridian Voice Mil, Call Pilot, or another?) Also would be nice to know what type of device the receptionist is using (2250 comsole, Digital set etc.)

your night msg is on a ran,, somewhere in your switchroom you have a box with that recording. we need to brand and model to help..

pretty lame way to have a night msg.. i would change the 1027 to a vacant number.. build that vacant number as a maxp 1 acd ncfw to mail, then add either a simple mailbox or use it as a service dn pointed to an announcement
