Night / day service indication

Hello,

Could some one please tell me a way of displaying if night or day service is active without using a console?

end user has CDE speed call programmed to initiate day or night service but no indication without using another key on the 5330 for day night enquire

This must be the MOST asked for thing ever on MITELS.

I cant belive that they still dont have this feature.
I put a DCR in 2 years ago for it and still nothing.
As far as I am aware there is NOway to light a light to indicate that the system is in night mode.

The only way is to have them dial the Dialed Day/Night Service - Inquire feature access code

If the customer requires an indication we now set the main number to be a multicall and fwd all to voicemail so that the lights are lit for night mode.

If anyone has a better way please please let us all know.

Ok, got that out my system.

Assuming 3300.
Must have Dialable night service enabled in COS
Dial Feature Access code for - Dialed Day/Night Service - Inquire

Assuming SX-200
Must have COS option - Telephone - Night Service Switching
Display phone will display Night service
Key can be programmed on set to toggle and light for Night service

Perhaps It's the way the question was put

But what I can not accomplish in a 3300 any software level is to find a way for users without a console to set night service via a key on a set and have that key illuminate on all sets that have the key so at a glance you can see the system is in night service.

Anyone found a way to do this?

No, key illumination on the 3300 is not possible at this time.
