Hello All,
I have a customer that has requested we setup a night service. During the day the receptionist answers the phone at night they want it to go directly to the auto attendant. Is there a way to setup a button on the receptionist phone to forward calls to AA just by pressing it? of course they would have to press it again when they come in the next morning. Thanks for the help.

Thanks
Tom

what type of system? always helps to know this in advance. Go into the phone programming,go to services, then ringing Service, then Schedule: Night, then turn on the night service, then go down to line settings, find out what ringing group the lines are in. Then go to that ringing group, add the vm ext. only to that group. Then go to recept. phone, hit F871 and hit ok for night service. Sounds more complicated than it actually is.
Or you could just call a sevice tech to come in and show you how to do it.

OOOPs its a BCM 400. thanks for the help I will those instructions.

If you set up the night service correctly, you can program a button on the recept.'s phone by pressing F*3, hit a button where you want night service to show up, then press F871.

Make reception set the Control set for all main telephone lines.
Ring Group 001 - (default) remove sets
Ring Group 002 - assign vmail DN
Night Ringing Service - Set to "Manual"
Set Lines to use Ring Grp 002 during Night mode.
Program Feature 871 on a button on the reception phone.
