attempting to get a night bell up and running for a customer with a Valcom v-9927A multi-tone generator. The connection goes like this...
Station port to the phone system connects on the UPAM. From the contact closure connects on the UPAM, jumper from COM to the COM port on the V-9927a and jumper from N.O. on the UPAM to the tone port on the Valcom multi-tone generator.
When I call the extension, the UPAM clicks, hangs for a sec, and does nothing. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong here?
