I am trying to get night bell over page to ring instead of going to AA1 as it does during normal working hours, I set up a new group and put my analog ext in it. I tested it and when that ext is called it does ring the overhead page (I have a viking unit on it for tone generation). I set up short code to pickup the call and that works. I setup and incomoing call route for the main number that goes to aa in the morning and afternoon and set the evening to point to group 201 which has the page ext in it. I checked AA setting to make sure there was no time profile associated with evening. Also am I going to have to setup another AA for weekends ? I am useing 500v2 with 7.92 in essential mode embedded vm.

Why would you not specify the time profile for the evening setting? Try to set the morning and afternoon destination in the AA to the group and see if you get the bell to ring. If you do, then just set the evening time in Time Profiles and you should be good to go. And if you want something else to happen on weekends like just go to AA or a general mailbox then yes you'll have to create a weekends time profile and apply that time profile in Incoming Call Routes under the default.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Thank you for the response it turns out it was a problem with the time profile. I did not know to set the evening from 5:00 to 12:00PM and then set 12:01AM - 7:59 AM when I spanned midnight nothing worked.

Here is how I eventually set things up set a analog port to a DID had a viking ring over page module ring the PA system. Put that extension as the destination in my time profiles. and programmed a shortcode for pickup of that extension when they hear the night ring. Set up similiar with time profile for weekend. Thanks for your help.

You shouldn't need a time profile for the evening, you say you already covered morning and afternoon with a profile that sends it to an attendant, anything else will be evening anyway and will just follow the default route :)
