Night Bell at remote location

I am installing IP phones off a 3300 at a remote location separate from the controller. This is replacing a 2k. The site has a night bell. Is there any way to access this? Can the IP paging unit be used to ring a bell? How about an AIM module in a phone?

Thanks

There is no IP device from mitel that will make ip analogue but you could use a media trix with sip or another deivce from norcocommunications.com

Hint, hint Mitel.... Hint, hint.
Cisco has an ATA, why not Mitel?
We sure could use them.

That's become one of the stumbling points on a forklift upgrade - how to deal with the 100+ fax machines and another 100+ Polycoms without still having to maintain legacy copper circuits to them all?

The existing copper cable plant is showing its age and several 25-year old punch blocks are beginning to crumble (brittle). Going forward I had really hoped to be able to retire all that crap as we do office reconfigurations and remodeling entire wings of the building. Now it looks like it's a worse nightmare than before because the users will have to actually plan where they want fax machines & we'll still be maintaining copper in the conference rooms and 2nd outlets in several private offices. That's not where I wanted to be.

How do I get out of the 66-block business?

I actually ended up finding a somewhat acceptable solution to the problem. I programmed the extension that used to hit the bell on a 5224 key, then rerouted it to the paging unit extension. I then put a directed call pickup speed dial on the same phone, so they can hit the "bell" button to pick it up. It now rings through the paging system. They were less than thrilled with it, but since the paging is only in the warehouse where the bell was, it was an acceptable solution.

I'm with MIMB, when can I get away from the legacy copper and retire my 66 block blade? My current install is a campus environment, so I will end up with 5 per nodes spread over two 3300 MXe controllers just for faxes.

M1tel, thanks for the tip. I had suggested it to the customer before posting, but they aren't giving up any more cash.
