I need to setup a Night Answer button on a couple phones so that at close of business day, the automated attendant takes over for live bodies. Typically, the receptionist phone will put the system in Night Mode but if she forgets, I want the person at another phone to be able to put it into Night mode. The Night mode was programmed by someone else and I dont know what they did. The button is currently on a Busy Lamp Field which I am removing. I want to move the Night Mode feature to the bottom button on the Advanced Optipoint 500 phone. In Manager, there are two options: NIGHT ANSWER that can point to internal or external, -or- NIGHT ANSWER ON-OFF which can also point to internal or external locations. What is the difference between the two features?
I would also like a LED light to show on the receptionist phone when it is in Night mode, not just a message on the phone display that says that it is in Night Mode.

Any help configuring this would be appreciated.
Thx
Monica

*91 press the key then scroll to night on/off. set option to default. The user that can change night mode has to be set on the manager e tool
