I am a noob when it comes to configuring a Mitel box far less for troubleshooting issues. I hope someone here can lend a helping hand.
The problem is that when the operator switches the system to Night 1 from the console a person trying to call in hears ring tone twice then silence. They are not prompted to dial an extension and the after hours greeting is not played so there is no way to reach persons working late. I told the operator not to switch the system to night 1 and leave it in day mode. When this was done at closing time the appropriate after hours greeting was played and the option to dial an extension if you knew it was given. The problem with this is that after the auto attendant answers and the calling party hangs up the console rings infinitely. if I answer the console no one is on the call. I want to stop the after hours auto attendant from sending ghost calls to the console, if that is what is really happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
