Nickname of an Object

I would like to know as to which Livelink table stores the nickname of an object in livelink? Even after I change the nickname of an object the dataId of the object remains the same in the dtree. Where does the nick name gets stored.

Ok. I got the answer. There is a table called NICKNAME, where the nickname is stored.

One more question related to that.
Can we update the Nick name or the Object Id of an object thru LAPI ?
