NICI CSS - Fatal Initialization Error 1

This is the error message I get when the Netware server is booting up, followed by: Controlled Cryptography Services are not available. I have searched Novell's site and haven't found a viable solution. Everything seems to deal with Netware 5.0 and 5.11. Does anybody know what this problem is in relation to and how to fix it? Compaq seems to think the hard drive is bad. Initial diagnostic check came back OK. Thanks!

is the server running ok?
Try re-installing nici/pki.

Search support for nremove.nlm. That deals with nici issues but a re-install of nici, not the server,is a good first step. Lee Smith

Actually no. I found out what the issue was. The hard drive failed on certain sectors of the sys volume, so it wouldn't boot fully. Once I replaced the drive, it worked fine.
