Hi all,

I have the issue that i can not send any report thou email, i checked the config from the virtual smtp and it works fine, even do i can send emails from command line.

Any idea?

Search for default smtp virtual server properties under IIS Manager properties, hit the advanced tab and enter your smtp server in smart host as well as machine.domain name. Don't forget to restart the server

Are your reporter logs showing any errors?

I don't get any log error.

Are your reporter services running?
I am assuming you are doing scheduled reports?

Yes sir, i found the issue,, the problem was the service where going up and down.

Good stuff.

If you're still on R3 SP3 there is a known issue where the reporter services will fail on restart. This is fixed in SP4.

This is a 8.9 version i hope they upgrade to R3 with SP5.

We still have some of those, they're like black and white tv's, not as funky but still do the job.
