check the network card settings and match it too whatever is set on screen/voice recorer 100 full etc
install wireshark on your laptop and check for network lags. check harware acceleration etc and also how are you playing back via web client etc?
If there is a lag, it could be down to a number of things should as a time difference/timezone used on your laptop
