What does it mean when I get a channel error? Does that mean it is not recording:

*NATI board 1 - channel(s) error (676)
Shutdown or reset Logger
*NATI board 2 - channel(s) error (676)
Shutdown or reset Logger
*NATI board 3 - channel(s) error (676)
Shutdown or reset Logger

1 input channel(s) are not recording (701)

Please help..What do I need to do...Rebooting doesn'tg help.

Sounds like an extension side logger and the logger is not correctly connected to the extension..would check the jumpering / connection.

Error-Load Library DAC failes!

Can someone tell me what this error means? I am having trouble with my output channels as they are saying "Failed to initialize output channel".

HELP!

Thanks

How is your output manager configured, where are you seeing this error? As to your channel errors if you have channels enabled but not connected (i.e. extensions jumpered to them in an extension side solution as TheBoy was leading to) then you will see this error.

Im seeing these errors below on the nice supervisor for the NATI board 1 - channel(s) error (676)
Shutdown or reset Logger
*NATI board 2 - channel(s) error (676)
Shutdown or reset Logger

But then the Error-Load Library DAC failed is on the logger itself.

Do you have all your channels connected? e.g. if you have a 24 channel extension logger do you have 24 extensions connected to the logger? What do you see in the Monitor channel view? This should show you which channels are having issues and give some sort of code such as NOS/LOS or other.

I show then all to be connected except two. I forget what the LOS/NOS mean, but if the channles are connected via the monitor and I show the green recording light, what else could be wrong??? Is it the actual channel board?? THE input channel CARD INSide the Logger? Also, I get a "failed to allocate channels" when I try to listen to any of these. Could my RAP units be going out or is it related to the actual input/output board where both input and output channels are designated?? Please advise.

Thanks In Advance.

With what you have said it really appears as though two of your channels (extensions) are not connected. Have you defined all channels in your logger definition? Are you showing LOS/NOS messages in monitor? If so is this being shown on only two channels? If so check the cabling/jumpering of these two channels, check they are defined in the logger definition and make some calls on the two channels and ensure you get quality recording, both inbound and outbound for those two channels.

I don't believe it has anything to do with your RAP units.
