NICE Backup Tape - Media Failure

Hi All,

Anyone got any advise on tapes which load up as "media failure"?

I had 1 today but I only recovered a call from it the day before, seems a bit odd.

Run a cleaning tape through the drive at least 3 times and try again if that still fails reboot the logger if still having problems (and no fault indication on leds) get the drive replaced.

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months

nope sorry haven't touched nice in years (working for verint now - much better)

Try a new tape before changing the drive. Might be cheaper.
