Hi all,

If you want register trunk, what is the configuration to do on the meridian ?
the configuration is nortel 81C with symposium

tk

French Technical Engineer

There are two sections to the trunk id, group number and timeslot. In logger configuration table set the logger to Trunk / Time Selective.

Trunk 1 always = 0
Timeslot 1 is made up of group number and then member number. Member number is not 1 - 30, it is as follows where the first two digits are group 14 and the last two digits are the related member number:

1404 - timeslot 1
1408 - timeslot 2
140c - timeslot 3
1410 - timeslot 4
1414 - timeslot 5
1418 - timeslot 6
141c - timeslot 7
1460 - timeslot 8
1444 - timeslot 9
1448 - timeslot 10
144c - timeslot 11
1450 - timeslot 12
1454 - timeslot 13
1458 - timeslot 14
145c - timeslot 15
14a0 - timeslot 16
1484 - timeslot 17
1488 - timeslot 18
148c - timeslot 19
1490 - timeslot 20
1494 - timeslot 21
1498 - timeslot 22
149c - timeslot 23
14e0 - timeslot 24
14c4 - timeslot 25
14c8 - timeslot 26
14cc - timeslot 27
14d0 - timeslot 28
14d4 - timeslot 29
14d8 - timeslot 30

The last two digits will always be of this format and be these numbers, the first two numbers will be different depending on trunk group (or trunk loop, I'm not sure exact Nortel terminology) number.

Sample of what logger definition for nortel symposium should look like

Recorded
Device
Channel Type Trunk 1 Timeslot 1
1 Trunk 0 1404
2 Trunk 0 1408
3 Trunk 0 140c
4 Trunk 0 1410
5 Trunk 0 1414
6 Trunk 0 1418
7 Trunk 0 141c
8 Trunk 0 1460
9 Trunk 0 1444

tk RoamingKiwi,

dou you know the solution OEM ?
how works this solution with Nortel Pbx ?

beware... the hex TN mapping may alter depending on the type of trunk.

The below is taken from out 8.9 cls looger map file

With regards to getting it to record there is nothing to do on the meridian itself. on the phoneset side you will need to configure IAPG = 1 and set the AST to the DN keys that you wish to monitor m(up to 2) ie:

AST 00
IAPG 1
AACS YES
ACQ AS: AST-DN
ASID 16
SFNB 1 2 3 4 5 6 11 12 13 18 22 24 25 26
SFRB
USFB 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15
CALB 0 1 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12
FCTB
ITNA NO
DGRP

the phone is configured in the nice devmap and devices.txt files and when the cls is started it "aquires the phoneset...

Hope this helps.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

tk mikeyb123,

in this configuration, is it possible to recorde no ACd phone ?

French Technical Engineer

yes you can record acd phones.

AST is set depending on where your incall key is and where your dn key is: in this case 0 and 8

LHK 0
PLEV 00
CSDN
SPID NONE
AST 00 08
IAPG 1
AACS YES
ACQ AS: TN,AST-DN,AST-POSID
ASID 16
SFNB 1 2 3 4 5 6 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 17 18 19 22 24 25 26
SFRB 1 2 15
USFB 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15
CALB 0 1 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12
FCTB
ITNA NO
DGRP
PRI 01
MLWU_LANG 0
DNDR 0
KEY 00 ACD 8001 0 5294
AGN
01
02 AWC
03 TRN
04 AO6
05 MSB
06 RNP
07
08 SCR 8298 0 MARP
09
10

You will need to add the DN and POS id to the devices.txt file and the relationship between them to the devmap.txt file:

In devices.txt: 8298 EXT
5294 POS

In devmap.txt: 8298 5294 (the order of POS ID to DN is set in the wizard - it may be the other way around in your case)

hope this makes sense

ok i understand but if you have a MCR key in key 0 it's possible to record this phone ?

French Technical Engineer

yes as long as you set the ast to match the keys you wish to record it will be fine. post your phone config?
