Hi,

I have a machine which was just a standard Suse Linux 8.2...Anyway, so I wanted to install Win 2003 server on it aswell so I did in a dual boot configuration and it all seemed to work fine except for now when I boot into Linux and the list of hardware comes up that is being initialized, it says "eth0" "failed".

So basically for some reason linux will not initialize my NIC even though it works fine on Windows and worked fine on Linux before Windows was installed.

Windows is installed on a totally different partition.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Will

Remove and then readd the card using Yast2. Then reconfigure IP settings, etc...

Not that it should matter, but post back with the card model if reconfiguring it using Yast doesn't work.
