Hi to all,

I have a curious situation going on and I was wondering if anyone had ever had this happen to them before. In the past 2 months I've had 7 to 10 NIC cards just up and die. They all have been in the same office building, same floor, same department area, and other areas of the office don't seem to be effected. My 2 theories are there's some electrical current surge over the CAT5 on that portion of the cable runs or the Cisco 2924 switch is somehow responsible. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
RSCHIC

Is anyone in that area doing some re-patching, trying to get more or move some phone connections. I've known data cables be accidently plugged into phone patch sockets, which usually blows the Ethernet interface.
