Heres a wierd problem...
I go home for lunch to have a beer after rebooting the server from work... its 4.2-RELEASE and its running:
-apache
-named/bind
-ftp
-sendmail
-nfsd
and other less important crap... so I notice that the webserver goes down and after spilling my beer all over my desk and myself, I jumped onto the other box and got on a external (not on the lan) shell... and started a ping to the webserver... then I opened another shell to the other box, and pinged the webserver... the external ping was nonexistent... UNTIL 1 second into the local ping... and then the interface replied!... so.. I now am running a ping -i 10 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx infinitly.. this seems to be working, but its stupid as hell... is there a fix for this?
Thx..
