Hi, Please be patient with a Corel novice, I have searched the help files but cannot find the answer to what I am trying to do. Its so simple really! I am trying to create transparent buttons for a theme I'm designing for a mobile phone. I have created a new work area with a trasparent background and want to add a rectangular border with radius on the corners. Up until this point I;m fine, however I cannot figure out how to remove the fill or make the fill transparent while leaving the border intact. Whe I edit the fill and make it transparent for the object I am working on, nothing seems to happen??

On a seperate note can someone explain to me why when you select an object and the say try and change something it will only mak ethe chamges when you re-create the object (if that makes sense) I.e.I want to make 'realtime' changs to an object (colours etc) to see the effects without having to re-draw it.

OK ramble over, I hope someonce can make sense of this and respond.

Many Thanks

HP
