NG SETUP & NAT

Hi,

Brand new to checkpoint NG, got and eval product from checkpoint to test to see if applicable to use in the enterprise.

Have loaded onto a win2k pc, on sp3 and done all the patches.
have installed checkpoint license for modual and management station on this pc, have defined a simple policy that consists one pc behind the checkpoint, allowing everything from this pc out, the pc can ping the internal and external ip of the checkpoint but cannot reach anything beyond this, web page gives "the page cannot be displayed" cannot find server or DNS error. but the actual win2k has no probs accessing the web.

Have tried all sorts of NAT, still no joy and when I do a arp -a on the win2k it comes back with, No ARP Entries found.

can anyone point out a url for a basic install of this software or suggest something that I'm missing.

have you enabled ip forwarding on windows 2000?
