Nfuse issue - Please help!

Nfuse 1.5 ( I know we're upgrading before the end of the year)

I had to reinstall nfuse and now it doesn't want to work, I keep getting the error --

There was an error:There was an error attempting to make a connection with the Citrix Server. The address to which the connection was attempted is xx.xx.xx.xx The port number to which the connection was attempted is 80. Please ensure that there is the Citrix XML service installed on the machine with that address, and that it is listening on that port.

on the passthru templates page. Altaddr is set on the metrame server and I modified the template ica for an alternate address as well. Do you think restarting the Metaframe server would help? Please help!

Have you tried to change the XML port, It conflicts sometime. we changed ours to 8080 and it ran fine. Go to this Citrix KB link to find out how to:

Thanks for your help on this post. I tried this and now it seems the Citrix XML service is missing from the Control Panel services. I may just need to restart but to do that I'll have to wait until everyone is out of the office. Any suggestions?

usr the command ctxxmlss /R:nn where nn = port number

then start it in Services. Dont' think you need everyone off for that tho.
