I have a couple probs that I hope you all can help with.

Problem #1

When I get to the NFuse login page there is a message
under message center that says "You do not have the citrix
ica client (active x)for 32-bit windows installed on your
system. You must install the ica client to launch the applications."Click on the link to download the client
and install it, installation is succesful.Click on the published app and another screen prompting me to download the client again.Click yes and it tells me the files I am copying are older than the ones in use.Click yes to overwrite all and all works fine. The problem is
every time I go the login page it tells me I need the client
again. If I do not download the client all still works properly.Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Problem #2

I need clients to access citrix from 2 different domains using the ica web client. There is a router between them using nat. When I use the alternate address it works from
one domain but not the other. If I turn the alt address off
vise versa happens.What the $#%^&(*^()*&()!!!!!!!!!!!

Any help on these problems would be greatlu appreciated.

Hello
I may be missing something, but you don't mention when you download the client that you are actually running the executable. We usually download the client to the desktop and then run the executable from there.
Often to save the fuss, I will just load the client on the pc from the Metaframe packet CD before the user even tries to get to Nfuse.
Hope this helps.

I have tried it both ways.Download it to the desktop and
install it or open from current location, same result.

Problem 1)

Try deleting temp internet files and cookies (sounds odd, but it's cured many web client problems for me!)

Problem 2)

I'm not too clear on what's happening here;

Web clients need to use the alternate address and LAN clients need to use the internal address of the Citrix server.

If both domains access via the web, then both should be connecting using the alternate address. I can't see any reason for one to work and one to only work on the internal address except incorrect client configuration on the domain that can't connect. Check the Use Alternate Address for Firewall Connection entries.

Hope this is helpful CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
